Bircher muesli is such a classic healthy breakfast but often forgotten.
Filled with gut-friendly oats you can make it your own by adding different combos of nuts/seeds and swapping apple for pear.
Anyway you make it you’ll enjoy it and you know what’s even better? It only takes a few mins prep the night before for a quick, nourishing breakfast.
- 2 C of my Morning Muesli/plain oats or a mixture of oats/nuts and seeds
- 3 C of your preferred milk
- 2 tbsp yogurt (Greek or coconut work well)
- 1 Apple or pear grated
Step 1. Place all the ingredients in to a bowl and mix.
Step 2. Place in the fridge overnight or for a minimum of 4-6hrs.
Serve with extra milk or yogurt and some fresh fruit/berries.
