This is the perfect Winter’s day dessert!
Packed with fruit, nuts and seeds, it’s sweet but full of nourishment.
I love pairing it with some cream or ice-cream for a special treat.
- 2-3 Pears, peeled and sliced
- 6 plums, peeled and halved
- Sprinkling of cinnamon
- 1 tbsp raw sugar
- 1/2 C plain flour
- 60g butter, cut in cubes
- 1 1/4 C of our nut-free muesli or muesli of your choice
- 1/4 brown sugar
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 180°.
Arrange the cut fruit in to a deep baking dish approx. 26cm x 16cm.
Sprinkle the cinnamon and 1 tbsp raw sugar evenly over the fruit.
Step 2. In a bowl, add the plain flour.
Rub the butter through the flour with your finger tips until a coarse crumb is formed.
Add the sugar and muesli to the flour and butter mixture and mix through.
Step 3. Spoon the flour/muesli mixture over the pears and plumbs until the fruit is coated evenly.
Bake for 35 mins or until slightly browned and cooked through.
