More information on Lora:

My name is Lora Attia – I am a Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD), Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor with a Master of Dietetics, Bachelor of Nutrition Science & Human Nutrition. To others, I am more commonly known as Lora with four kids under 5 years old.

My passion is to support women and couples to optimize their diet and lifestyle to be in the best state to conceive, improve their health during pregnancy and postpartum.

I have combined mindset strategies, nutrition education and physical activity to help many through the challenges experienced during conception, pregnancy and birth. Postpartum nutrition and wellbeing is also an area that I highly advocate for- Being a mother I know firsthand how demanding the entire pregnancy cycle can be, but it’s interesting how little emphasis is given to early life nutrition, which is pre-conception to toddlerhood or otherwise known as the first thousand days. There is significant research that now highlights environmental effects such as diet and exercise on a growing fetus. This may affect the long term health of your baby with adverse associated risks, such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, allergies and heart disease.

Having a dietitian that specializes in the first 1000 days will also assist you in pregnancy and postpartum nutrition to support the development and wellbeing of you and your child for long term success.

I want to help you prepare for this new chapter in your life, conception, pregnancy and beyond. You are going to achieve confidence in your own body, in the kitchen and reap the benefits of a healthier you and a healthier baby.

I will help you plan for this time and provide tailored nutrition and fitness guidance, to support your increased energy needs, optimize nutrition stores and help you get moving again, safely.
